BANGALORE: Snapdeal.com launches High Rollers club

Group buying site, SnapDeal.com has rolled out their ‘High Rollers Club’ in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. This club will feature those customers who buy maximum number of SnapDeal coupons in a week and in a month. Chosen High Rollers will stand a chance to win exciting goodies: free merchandise, gifts, deals, deal vouchers and event passes.

Garmin Asus to launch Android phone

Garmin-Asus has plans to launch its first Android based phone in India in the last week of September and it will be priced between `20,000 and `22,000. The phone, with Android 2.1 is said to have five hours of talktime and an auto focus five mega pixel camera built in car navigation with street view function. It will also sport features like CIAO, Panoramio, Movie listings. The phone also has a Smart3 tag from the Garmin Asus M10 mobile on the Android platform.

RCOM’s new deal

Reliance Communications on Tuesday announced benefits for its new prepaid CDMA and GSM customers in Karnataka. The FRC 109 Mega-Saver pack offers savings on both Local and STD calls with local calls at 40p/min and STD calls at `1.20/ 3 minutes. The FRC 92 Full-Talk time-Every time Pack offers customers full talk time on any top-up of 55 and above for one full year, with all local and STD calls at 50p per minute.

Customers on activation of FRC - 109 Mega-Saver Pack and FRC-92 Full-Talk time-Every time Pack, will get an instant talk time of 50.  Valid for a year, the new packs are available with immediate effect on Prepaid CDMA and GSM mobile.

Consumer electronics manufacturer LG has launched its second Android phone in the market — the LG GT540. The phone, priced at `12,990 comes with automatic account synchronisation with all Google mobile services and social networking functions in a multimedia environment. The LG GT540 comes with a media player which enables users to watch DivX and Xvid videos directly. The integrated 3MP camera captures vibrant and crisp images and supports geo-tagging, auto face-tagging and face-to-action technology.
