For all those who love doodling and mix work and play and form and style, then the launch of Samsung Note 7 in India on August 11 is a date to note.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was launched with much fanfare in New Delhi on Thursday.
The phone is making its appearance in a dual SIM hybrid variant where people can use a SIM card or can expand memory up to 256 GB using the same slot.
Pre-bookings for the device will start on August 22 and it will be available in three colours: gold platinum, silver titanium and black onyx colours. In other countries, the phone was also released in a blue coral, which is not available in India.
The device, which saw an early launch for US consumers on August 2, brings the best high-end phablet to one’s hands, with the first-of-its kind iris scanner for added security, which allows users to unlock their phones using their eyes for identification.
Featuring a 5.7 Inch Quad HD (2550x1440) AMOLED display, the phone’s brilliant display features 100% RGB colours, meaning the phone’s screen would render images and multimedia content in true-to-life colours.
The device is powered by an inbuilt 3,500 mAh battery, and comes with a USB Type C cable for data connectivity and Samsung’s signature stylus — S Pen. The Note 7’s S Pen offers 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity as compared to 2,048 points of sensitivity on the Samsung note 5, besides having IP68 level water-proofing certification, which keeps it completely dust-proof and safe enough to ride it out through the rains.
The phone has a built-in HDR processor which will help being the best out of all multimedia and video content on the phone. And for all you shutter bugs, the Note 7’s 12 MP camera with F/1.7 rear sensor and dual pixel continuous autofocus will be a pleasure to use, especially when you want to take low light images without having to miss moments.
And if you pre-book the Samsung Gear VR headset before August 30, you will get it at a discounted price of Rs 1,200.
