Kickass Torrents seems to be back in action as per reports on TorrentFreak. According to the report, the staffers of the infamous website, are trying to restore it to its old content and glory.

The website with the added 'new' tag to its address, seems to have crashed due to heavy traffic after its launch.

“We have all our major uploaders on board and they continued to share tirelessly even before the torrent engines returned. The torrent community can continue to expect to see uploads from all the names they know and trust,” TorrentFreak reported the KATcr crew as saying.

While some see this move by the staffers as bold after the site's closure following the arrest of founder Artem Vaulin by US Justice Department for illegal activities, the staff reportedly sees no major legal problems lying ahead.

“So long as Kickass Torrents continues to operate to the absolute letter of the law then we are most certainly not conducting criminal activities,” they note, quotes TorrentFreak.

The staffers are equally confident that the original operators will soon walk free after investigations are carried out.
