Ringing Bells, an Indian smartphone Company, launched in 2015 has finally announced the launch of its new and cheapest smartphone in the world, Freedom 251 for just Rs 251.
The budget smartphone's launch was announced followed by the company's earlier promise to come up with a smart phone in lesser than Rs 500.
A couple of weeks ahead of the Union Budget, such a launch supported by Pro-Technology Modi Government, seems like it is literally 'ringing bells' for a tech-friendly budget.
Freedom 251 will have the pre-intalled applications of Swachh Bharat, Women Safety, Fisherman, Farmer, Medical, Google Play, WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter.
The phone, Freedom 251, to be launched on Wednesday evening, will have a 4-inch display with a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM.
With a battery back-up of 1450mAh, the device will be equipped with a 3.2 megapixels rear and 0.3 megapixels front camera.
Freedom 251 will have an internal memory of 8 GB which would expandable up to 32 GB.
The company has already received immense support from Modi's Government as it attempts to spread the 'Make in India' wave.

The unveiling ceremony of Freedom 251 will be held in New Delhi and Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, will be the Chief Guest of event.
Freedom 251 comes with a legacy of a 3G radio, the user would be able to connect of any of the 3G services across the nation.
The budget smart phone will be available for pre-booking on company's official website from February 18, at 6 a.m.
