When it comes to comedy, Dileep is an established name and his next release Georgettan’s Pooram will be no different. The movie, that hits the screens on Saturday, will see the actor at his comic best, says  director K Biju.

“Georgettan’s Pooram is an entertainer and one can see Dileep in a very likable avatar. The USP of the movie is its situational humour. We have not created humour just for the sake of it, rather it goes naturally with the story,” says the director. He adds that the movie targets the youth.
Dileep plays George, a happy-go-lucky guy in the movie who falls short of his father’s expectations. Ranji Panicker plays the father, who is also a priest.
Vinay Fort and Sharaffudeen play Dileep’s friends in the movie. Expectedly, the movie is a tale of friendship. “The focus of Georgettan’s Pooram is definitely the bond Dileep’s character shares with his friends. They are with him through everything,” says the director.
The movie also has a strong love track. State Award winner Rajisha Vijayan, who made her debut in Anuragakarikkin Vellam, will play Dileep’s romantic interest in the movie.
