MUMBAI:It was the second high profile hanging for Prison Superintendent Yogesh Desai and police constable Ram Shinde. They had hanged Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, a convict in the 26/11 Mumbai terror case, in Pune’s Yerawada Central Prison in 2012. While Desai was transferred to Nagpur from Pune two weeks ago, Shinde was called in for the job four days before the execution.
