KOLKATA: The Enforcement Directorate on Saturday issued summons to suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mukul Roy and three other leaders in connection with Narada sting case and asked them to join investigation by the end of this month.

Earlier in the week, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered FIR against 12 TMC leaders, including MPs and ministers in West Bengal Government, and an IPS officer for corruption in the case where they were allegedly caught on camera taking money.

The Narada sting tapes, which were released to different news organisations before the 2016 assembly elections in West Bengal, showed people resembling senior TMC leaders receiving money allegedly for giving future favours.
