LUCKNOW: Talking to media persons, Shrikant Sharma and Siddharth Nath Singh—designated by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to brief the media over the Cabinet meeting—said the CM asked all ministers to disclose their incomes within the next 15 days and submit the details to the CM secretariat and the BJP office.

The CM also cautioned all the ministers against making any irresponsible statements that could lead to a controversy or hurt sentiments of anybody in the state.

To a question on waiving farmers' loan and closure of abattoirs, Siddharth Nath Singh said all these issues would be decided at the first formal Cabinet meeting of the State government, the date for which will be decided soon.

After assuming charge, the UP CM reached out to the people through a series of tweets via his new official twitter handle assuring everyone irrespective of caste, creed and religion of clean, transparent and good governance.

The new CM also promised to deliver the development agenda of Prime Minister Modi and live up to the idea of sabka saath, sabka vikas without any discrimination.

Addressing media persons for the first time after taking charge, the Yogi spelt out his government’s priorities saying his govt will follow the party’s poll manifesto in letter and spirit and fulfil all the promises made therein.

He reiterated his govt’s commitment to ensure the welfare of all while taking the state ahead on the path of development. However, he refused to take questions dubbing it merely a thanks-giving interaction.
