Discontent brewing in  Congress in Dewas?
Discontentment seems to be brewing among opposition Congress workers in Hatpipliya Vidhan Sabha constituency of Dewas district, over Kamal Nath-loyalist former MP minister Sajjan Singh Verma’s publicly declaring former MLA Rajendra Singh Baghel’s son Rajveer Singh Baghel the party’s candidate from the seat in next assembly polls. Other aspirants for the Congress ticket, including Vishwajit Chauhan have decided to raise the issue with state party chief Kamal Nath. Importantly, Rajveer, as Congress candidate had lost 2020 by-poll from the seat by 14,000 votes to BJP’s Manoj Chaudhary. The latter as Congress candidate had defeated sitting BJP MLA Deepak Joshi.
