High-level committee on NTA meets, vows to set up a robust foolproof exam process

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education constituted a High-Level Committee of Experts under the chairmanship of Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Former Chairman, ISRO and Chairman BoG, IIT Kanpur, met on Monday evening to ensure transparent, smooth and fair conduct of examinations.

Dr Radhakrishnan said that the first few priorities of the committee would be to meet personally and through digital media, students and parents and understand their difficulties.

He also said another top priority will be to a set up a robust and foolproof exam mechanism process that would be temper-proof. He added that the intention was to set up the exam process as soon as possible

The Committee has been tasked to make recommendations on reform in mechanism of examination process, improvement in data security protocols and structure and functioning of NTA.

The Committee to submit its report to the Ministry within 2 months.
