Jaipur, Nov 29 (PTI) The Rajasthan government and theIndian Army today signed an MoU for improving infrastructurefor the latter's posts in areas on the Indo-Pak border, anofficial said.

As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the Armywill be able to use an airstrip in the Lalgarh-Jatan area inSri Ganganagar district for 10 years.

The Army can also do temporary construction there as pertheir requirement, Principal Secretary of the State CivilAviation Department, Pawan Goyal said.

The state government has also sanctioned funds for theairstrip which is near the Indo-Pak border, he said.

The MoU was signed between the State Civil AviationDepartment and the Army. PTI SDAANB.
