Patna, Nov 30 (PTI) BJP legislator from Bihar, AnandBhushan Pandey died at a Delhi hospital today followingprolonged illness.
The MLA from Bhabua constituency was 41, and issurvived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
In a statement condoling the young MLA's death, BiharDeputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said, "Pandey had beensuffering from kidney failure for eight months. He wasundergoing treatment at Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi wherehe breathed his last Thursday morning."His body is being brought from Delhi to Bhabua, wherehe will be cremated at his ancestral village, Sushil Modisaid.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said Pandey's last riteswill be performed with full state honours.
Proceedings at the Bihar Assembly and legislativecouncil were adjourned for the day, after reading out ofobituary reference to the deceased legislator. PTI NACRBT.
