Los Angeles, Oct 23 (PTI) Singer-actor Justin Timberlakeis all set to perform during the halftime of Super Bowl LII.
The 36-year-old musician took to Twitter to announce thenews ahead of NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast in a funnyvideo in which he appeared alongside Jimmy Fallon, hislongtime friend and frequent collaborator.
"I do have the time. Half the time...#PepsiHalftime#SBLII @Pepsi @NFL @JimmyFallon @FallonTonight," Timberlakewrote.
The "Can't Stop The Feeling" singer's performance comes14 years after his controversial halftime show with JanetJackson, in which he ripped off a portion of her costume, thatpartly revealed her breast.
Both Timberlake and Jackson apologised for the incident,with the former referring to it as "wardrobe malfunction".
He also performed during the 2001 edition of theSuperbowl halftime when he was a part of the boy band 'N Sync,along with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears and Aerosmith.
In 2017, he appeared in the Super Bowl's advertisementswith Christopher Walken.
Last year, Lady Gaga headlined the Super Bowl in anexplosive performance.
