Elaborating on the action taken so far in connection with the cough syrup issue, Yogi said the government had registered 79 cases, named 225 people and arrested 78 accused.
Meanwhile, the SIT which is probing the case has arrested the woman chemical analyst of Sresan Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of the concerned cough syrup in TN.
Rajesh Soni, the prime stockist of the cough syrup in Parasia town, and Saurabh Jain, the pharmacist in the medical store from which most parents purchased the cough syrup, have been arrested.
