Sai Shines in AGORC Win

CHENNAI: Left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore’s four for 65 paved the way for AGORC to beat Southern Railway Institute by an innings and 42 runs on the final day of a third round match of the TNCA senior division league.

Jolly Rovers, Globe Trotters, Vijay CC and Alwarpet CC gained first innings honours, while UFCC and Aruna CC split points (3 each) as the first innings was unfinished.

KB Arun Karthick of Vijay CC had the distinction of carrying the bat (255 no) against Grand Slam. K Mukunth (101 no) of Globe Trotters and Ashwin Venkataraman (102 no) of Alwarpet were the other century makers of the day.

RS Jagannath Srinivas’s six for 20 helped Kancheepuram DCA beat Theni DCA by eight wickets in a TNCA inter-district U-16 match.
