Unbeaten Triple Century by Sargunam

CHENNAI: An unbeaten triple century by Thalaivan Sargunam for Globe Trotters was the feature on the final day of the drawn match against Jolly Rovers in the fifth round of the Senior Division league of the TNCA at MRF-Pachaiyappa’s college grounds.

Sargunam’s effort enabled Globe Trotters to declare at a mammoth 730 for 7 in 200.4 overs. In reply, Jolly Rovers were 204 for 4 in 67 overs when play ended. Both teams got three points each (first innings incomplete).

Globe Trotters (26), Jolly Rovers (26), Youngstars (19), Vijay CC (28), Alwarpet (23), and Grand Slam (21) will play in the Elite Group in the next round.
