CHENNAI: Opener S Anirudha and middle-order bat K Shri Vasudeva Das, who a couple of years back were regulars in the state team, have been named in 28 probables for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. R Satish, who suffered an injury and missed the last season, too has made the list.
Left-arm spinner DT Chandrasekar has been rewarded for his good show in the TNCA league. Prashant Parameswaran, who has taken transfer from Kerala, has also made the cut. Bharath Shankar is the notable omission. Tamil Nadu’s Ranji preparatory camp will be held in Wayanad in the first week of October and after that, will continue in Mumbai.
