Yes, the unthinkable happened in a local football match at Brazil when the referee Gabriel Murta, also a cop by profession, first got kicked and slapped from an 'Amantes de Bola' player. He then rushed to the changing room, only to return with his gun to avenge the humiliation.
The linesmen were quick enough to avert the major tragedy by taking Murta away. The referee now faces disciplinary action, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
