The Delhi police on Wednesday questioned Raj Kundra, a co-owner of IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals in connection with the spot fixing scandal. Kundra, who reached the office of special cell of Delhi police at Lodhi road in the morning, was questioned for around eight hours.

Reportedly, police asked Kundra whether he had any inputs about the alleged cases of spot fixing that had happened. Kundra answered that he did not have inputs on whether any other players in the IPL franchise were involved in spot fixing.  It may be recalled that all three players arrested by Delhi police, namely S. Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan play for Rajasthan Royals. The Delhi police also questioned Kundra's associate Umesh Goenka. Police said cricketer Siddarth Trivedi, who too plays for Rajasthan Royals, has turned prosecution witness in the case. Trivedi alleged that Goenka asked him for details such as  pitch information as well as the composition of the team.

Earlier this week, Delhi Police had sought inputs from former BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale and IPL CEO Sundar Raman on the tripartite agreement between BCCI, IPL teams and players. Delhi Police had on Tuesday invoked the stringent MCOCA against suspended cricketer S Sreesanth and 22 others in the IPL spot-fixing scandal for which the "command" originated from underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's outfit.
