MS Dhoni pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss Windies opener Chandrapaul Hemraj off the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah on Saturday during the third ODI between India and Windies at Pune.

After Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first, the visitors got off to a good start with both Hemraj and Kieran Powell hitting boundaries.

In the sixth over, Hemraj sent a short delivery from Jasprit Bumrah over the ropes for a maximum. In the very next ball, Bumrah fired another delivery in same line and length, while adding a little bit of steep bounce. This time, Hemraj couldn't control the hook, resulting in a top edge.

The ball went up in the air with Dhoni going in for the chase. As the ball kept going away, the former India captain didn't give up the pursuit. Although he was a few yards short, he put in a full-stretched dive and stuck out his hands to grab the ball in his webbing.

Dhoni had a good outing even after that, as he took two catches behind the stumps and stumped in-form Windies batsman Shimron Hetmyer. This performance comes in after Ranchi-born cricketer was dropped from the T20 squads against Windies and Australia.
