GUNTUR: Madala Rajender, TDP MP candidate for the Guntur parliamentary constituency, who faces veteran Congress contestant Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, seems to be putting in all his might into his campaign.
‘Express’ caught up with him on his tour of the Tenali constituency today, where he conducted roadshows besides door-to-door canvassing in a few other streets in Tenali town.
Tenali, which is crucial for the victory of any candidate with over two lakh votes at stake, seems to have got the required attention from Rajender, who canvassed in the town along with TDP Tenali Assembly candidate Alapati Rajendra Prasad.
Madala Rajender, knowing that women voters were the ones who decide the future of any candidate in Tenali, stopped over at many places and explained to women about TDP’s poll promise - the Cash Transfer Scheme.
“This will support you in addition to your earnings.
Moreover, it will be deposited in your account which means you can spend it according to your needs,” he explained to women voters who listened in rapt attention.
While it is going to be a tough fight, Rajender looks determined and is leaving no stone unturned to emerge victorious.
