HYDERABAD: To give momentum to the Telangana issue in the political and non -political circles, one more nonpolitical organisation - Telangana Vimochana Samithi (TVS) - will be formally launched here tomorrow.

The TVS organising committee members MLC K Dileep Kumar, V Prakash and Bellaiah Naik have made elaborate arrangements for the launch of TVS at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan in the city.

Around 1,500 representatives would attend the meeting from all the 10 districts of the region. Several Telangana protagonists like Konda Laxman Bapuji, Bhupati Krishna Murthy and intellectuals like Haragopal, G Chakrapani and professors from Osmania, Kakatiya and Telangana Universities will also take part in the TVS formation day meeting.

The organisers invited all the Telangana organisations representatives for the meeting.

TRS rebel and dissidents were also invited to the meeting but their participation was not confirmed by the TVS organising committee.

The TVS organising committee would present a draft resolution to continue the Telangana movement.

TVS dress code, party flag would be released on the formation day.

The committee would announce the steering committee with selected representatives in the coming days. Besides, several committees would also be formed including core committee. TVS would take up agitational programmes on several issues and problems which can only be solved with the creation of a separate Telangana state.

The TVS would also announce a year long programme to sensitise the people on Telangana issue.

Speaking to reporters TVS organising committee member K Dileep Kumar said that they were not against any political party. They appealed to all the political parties’ leaders to join the organisation.

“When the political process failed to yield good results to achieve the Telangana state, building a mass movement will help to achieve the goal,” TVS leader opined.

He said that leadership change would be inevitable in TRS and he demanded that a Dalit leader should be made party president.
