ANANTAPUR: Jail warder PN Ananda Prasad was suspended today for trying to provide a cellphone to undertrial prisoners. According to the district jail authorities, head warder Narayana, who saw Prasad going towards a cell where the accused in Paritala Ravindra murder case were lodged, got suspicion.
When he frisked Prasad, the cellphone was found. He immediately informed the matter to Jail Superintendent Ravi Prasad. After an inquiry, the Jail Superintendent suspended Prasad. Â
