HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy has said that there is no need for Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhara Rao to `sacrifice’ his life by launching a fast unto death.
Speaking to reporters here today, Reddy said the TRS chief was not like Potti Sreeramulu who had sacrificied his life for a seaparte Andhra state.
The TDP did not discuss the proposed indefinite fast by Rao, he hastened to add. ``Let Rao start his fast, the TDP will react then,’’ Reddy said.
Claiming that Rao was his best friend, Reddy said he had only advised Rao to quit smoking.
