HYDERABAD: Tela nga na Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA D Vinay Bhaskar today denied allegations levelled against him by a realtor that he had forcibly taken away the 10-acre land belonging to the latter.

Flanked by purported victims of U Rajender, the realtor who lodged a complaint with police against him, Vinay Bhaskar told mediapersons that Rajender has been cheating people offering dubious schemes and afterwards collecting money from them. “Being an MLA from Telangana, I have a responsibility to guard people of the region from Seemandhra realtors,’’ Vinay Bhaskar said. The victims included natives of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts, he said. None of them was allotted the promised land.

“I had questioned Rajender about the issue but I did not attack or abuse him,” the MLA said. Yesterday, Rajender lodged a complaint at Narayanguda police station alleging that Vinay Bhaskar attacked him and forcibly made him sign on a stamp paper authorising transfer of his 10-acre land.

Narayanguda police said they were investigating into the case but that no case was registered against the MLA.
