Shutting the door on any talks with the Congress, the MIM leadership on Saturday submitted a letter to governor E S L Narasimhan withdrawing of support to the Kiran Kumar Reddy government.
A delegation of MIM legislators led by Asaduddin Owaisi met the the governor at Raj Bhavan on Saturday and handed in the letter.
“Though there was no need for us to submit a letter to the governor in this regard, we did so because we had earlier extended our support to the government on the floor of the Assembly. We thought it was appropriate for us to do so,” said Owaisi soon after meeting the governor.
