The chief minister will be laying a number of foundation stones under the Greater Hyderabad Development Project on June 1.

He will be participating in various programmes of the GHMC in connection with the construction of a flyover at Towlichowk; widening of road at Nandanavanam from Moghal-ka-nala to Puranapul; widening of road from Botanical Garden to old Mumbai highway via Masjidbanda village; improvement of old Mumbai highway from Towlichowki to Gachibowli; and construction of link road from Miyapur to Yellammabanda road.

GHMC commissioner MT Krishna Babu said the flyover at Towlichowki would be ready in 18 months and rest of the works will be completed within one year.

MLAs M Bikshapathi Yadav (Serlingampally) and Afsar Khan (Karwan), corporators and officials inspected the Botanical Gardens, Towlichowki and Moghal-ka-Nala areas on Tuesday.
