Day temperatures go down in Andhra Pradesh

There was a marked decrease in the day temperatures across the state on Tuesday with rain occurring at a few places in Rayalaseema and isolated rain in coastal Andhra and Telangana under the influence of a trough of low pressure that has formed over the coast from north Andrha to south  Tamil Nadu.

In addition to this, a low pressure area  is forming over the Bay of Bengal, changing the weather condition. Till Monday there had been heat wave but on Tuesday the day temperature was not very high.

The met department said that on Monday the maximum temperatures fell largely at most places in coastal districts, markedly fell at many places in Rayalaseema and fell at many places in Telangana but were markedly below normal at a few places in coastal Andhra, below normal at a few places in Rayalaseema and at one or two places in Telangana. The highest temperature of 45 degress celsius was recorded at  Hanmakonda in warangal district.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, and rain or thundershowers at isolated places in Telangana. In Hyderabad and its neighbourhood the sky will be generally cloudy till May 30. Rain or thundershowers may occur in parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 38 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
