The BJP has demanded the dismissal of the remaining four tainted ministers too from the state cabinet.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, BJP state president G Kishan Reddy said it was high time that the remaining four tainted ministers too were removed from the cabinet. Accusing chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of shielding the tainted ministers he said the chief minister, instead of taking action against the tainted ministers, was assuring them all sorts of support.

“The chief minister is more worried about his chair than the image of the government and the welfare of the people. Kiran has only two things to do, save his chair by impressing the party high command and spend public money on his own publicity”, he said.

Criticising Amma Hastam, the BJP state chief said the government was spending more money on the packaging than on the commodities supplied to the poor. “The quality of the products is poor,” he alleged.

He said that over one lakh people would attend the public meeting in the city on June 3. Telangana Nagara Samithi chief Nagam Janardhan Reddy and leaders of other parties will join the BJP on that day in the presence of Rajnath Singh.
