VUDA Invites Applications for Allotment of Apartments, Duplex Houses

VISAKHAPATNAM: Announcing the completion of two housing projects, Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) has invited online applications for allotment of Apartment Units in Haritha housing project, Madhurawada and duplex units in Row housing project at Rushikonda. VUDA vice chairman T Baburao Naidu said applications would be received online from Wednesday onwards till February 27.

The Haritha housing project at Madhurawada, which is situated between the Kolkata-Chennai Highway and Vizag-Bheemili Beach Road is nearing completion, while the Row housing project at Rushikonda close to the Vizag-Bheemili Beach Road has already been completed.

Apartment units in Haritha Housing project would be allotted through draw of lots, while the duplex units in Row housing project will be allotted through open auction, he added.

As many as 13 south facing LIG units with 820 sft of plinth area are available in Haritha housing project. As many as MIG units with 1380 sft plinth area and 12 west facing MIG units with 1320 sft plinth area each are also available under the project. The units will be allotted at a cost of `2,700 per sft.

Applicants for LIG units have to pay an EMD of `50,000 while applications for MIG units should be made along with an EMD of `75,000 payable by way of Bank DD in favour of the vice chairman, VUDA.

As many as 58 duplex units are available under the Row housing project for allotment through open auction. The upset price for ‘A - Category’ unit with 2,066 sft plinth area is `71 lakh, while for B - Category unit with 2,114 sft the price is ` 72 lakh, for C-Category with 2,222 sft `77 lakh and for D-Category unit with 2386 sft, `82.5 lakhs. Applicants have to pay an EMD of `25,000.

The draw of lots for allotment of Haritha Flats will be held on March 2 and the  auction of Row housing units on March 3 at Vaisakhi Jala Udyanavanam. Terms and conditions can be downloaded from www.vuda.gov.in
