VISAKHAPATNAM: The 34th edition of the three-day United Exhibitions ‘The Jewellery Expo’ kickstarted at Gateway Hotel of the city Saturday. Bollywood actor and cousin of actor Priyanka Chopra, Mannara Chopra inaugurated the expo.
The expo displayed glittering jewellery from 40 popular jewellers from across the country, including New Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhimavaram, Warangal, Benguluru and Visakhapatnam. The organisers said that the exhibitors, many of them new to Visakhapatnam, will be presenting well-known brands apart from exclusive collection of jewellery designed by them. Antique jewellery, bridal jewellery, custom jewellery, fashion jewellery, gold jewellery, diamond, handmade, Jadau, Kundam and a number of other varieties can be seen. The organisers also claim that the highlight of the event would be display of gold jewellery with French enamelling without wax, Jadau jewellery. Project director, UE, VK Manoj said that the exhibition would continue till November 30.
