TIRUPATI:A case has been registered by Nindra police of Chittoor district against TTD Trust Board chairman Chadalawada Krishnamurthy following a complaint filed by the Prudential Sugar Corporation Limited for unauthorisedly entering into the factory premises on Friday night and intimidating the workers.

According to the complaint filed by Prudential Sugar Corporation executive director K Subbarao at the Nindra Police Station, Krishnamurthy along with Jayaramaiah, Padmanabharaju and 8 to 10 other accomplices, forcibly entered into the premises of the factory located at Prudential Nagar of Nindra mandal in Chittoor district by threatening the security guards on Friday evening and warned the workers and officers who were working in the factory to leave the work place immediately.

Later, they entered the company guest house and threatened the guest house staff and other staff to vacate the premises immediately. Krishnamurthy confronted with general manager (Cane) and his junior staff and warned them of dire consequences if they continued to toy with the company. After 10 minutes of staying at the guest house, Krishnamurthy and his accomplices left the factory premises, according to the complainant.

Meanwhile, Krishnamurthy refuted the allegations leveled against him by Prudential Sugar Corporation. He said that neither he nor his followers had attacked the factory.  Nor had he threatened the employees there. He said that he had 50 per cent share-holding in the sugar factory and that the management had denied its promise of giving director post to him. He said that he would strive for getting justice to the sugarcane farmers from the factory, he said.

Following the complaint filed by Prudential Sugar Corporation Limited, a case has been registered against the TTD chairman and others under Sections 448 and 506 of IPC, Nindra SI said.
