HYDERABAD:The Enforcement Directorate officials attached assets worth Rs 7.85 crore belonging to Penna Cements in connection with its money laundering probe against YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and others. The attached immovable assets include various land pieces in Anantapur district and parts of a hotel building in Banjara Hills here.
During the course of investigations, it was revealed that Penna Cement and Pioneer Holiday Resorts received undue favours from the government of AP in the form of alienation of government land, grant of prospecting license for limestone, as against quid pro quo investments in the companies of Jagan. ens
