VISAKHAPATNAM: With a view to provide comfortable journey to passengers and  clear rush, the East Coast Railway will augment permanently with one more third AC coach to train 18573/18574 Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi, train 18567/18568 Visakhapatnam-Kollam-Visakhapatnam express and train 18516/18515 Visakhapatnam-Tata Nagar-Visakhapatnam express.

According to the revised augmentation,   Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi (no.18573) will be augmented by one additional 3rd AC coach with effect from February 11 and the train 18574 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Visakhapatnam express will be augmented with additional third AC coach with effect from February 13.

Visakhapatnam-Kollam express (no.18567) will be augmented with one additional third AC coach with effect from February 11 and the train 18568 Kollam-Visakhapatnam express will be augmented with additional third AC coach with effect from February 12.

Visakhapatnam-Tata Nagar express (no.18516)will be augmented with one additional third AC coach with effect from February 13 and the Tata Nagar-Visakhapatnam express (no.18515) will be augmented with additional third AC coach with effect from February 14.

Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the railways will run special train services between Visakapatnam and Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam and Dharmavaram.

Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam special train (07271) will leave Vijayawada at 23.00 hours on January 28 and on February 4, 11, 18 and 25 which will reach Visakhapatnam  next day at 07.00 hours.

In the return direction, Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada special train (07272) will leave Visakhapatnam at 22.55 hours on January 31 and February 7,14,21 and 28 which will reach Vijayawada next day at 05.10 hours.

En route both the trains will have stoppage at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem and Eluru and comprises one 2nd AC, one 3rd AC, seven sleeper class, five second class sitting and two second class sitting-cum-luggage coaches.

Visakhapatnam-Dharmavaram special train (07273) will leave Visakhapatnam at 16.45 hours on January 29 and February 5,12,19, 26 which will reach Dharmavaram next day at 12.40 hours.

In the return direction, Dharmavaram-Visakhapatnam special train (no.07274) will leave Dharmavaram at 14.30 hours on January 30 and February 6,13,20 27 which will reach Visakhapatnam next day at 10.25 hours.
