E-stamp system soon to be launched replace

RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: Due to severe shortage of non-judicial stamps, which are supplied from Nasik, the State government has asked the Stamps and Registrations department to allow registrations and transfer of properties without non-judicial stamp papers. It has also decided to implement e-stamping system for collecting stamp duty.

The SHCIL will collect the stamp duty and issue a certificate, which will be treated as equivalent to the non-judicial stamps and can validate any registration and transaction when enclosed with agreements made on a white paper.
