VISAKHAPATNAM : Visakhapatnam: To clear extra rush of passengers in summer, the Railways will run summer special trains till July 1. Passengers are advised to use the special train services.
The Howrah-Chennai Central AC weekly special train (no.00841) will leave Howrah on Saturdays from April 9 to June 25 at 12.40 pm, reach Visakhapatnam the next day (Sundays) at 2.05 am and depart at 2.35 am. The train will reach Chennai Central on Sundays at 3.05 pm. In return direction, the Chennai Central-Howrah AC weekly special train (no.00842), will depart Chennai Central on Sundays from April 10 to June 26 at 5.10 pm, reach Visakhapatnam on the next day (Mondays) at 5.15 am and leave at 5.35 am. The train will arrive in Howrah the same day at 6.30 pm. These pair of trains will stop at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada over East Coast Railway.
Similarly, the Secunderabad-Guwahati Express train (no.07149) will leave Secunderabad on Fridays from April 22 to May 27 at 7.30 am, and reach Visakhapatnam the same day at 8.35 pm. The train will leave Visakhapatnam at 8.55 pm and will arrive Guwahati on Sundays at 8.45 am. In return direction, the Guwahati-Secunderabad Express train (no.07150) will leave Guwahati on Mondays from April 25 to May 30 at 6.15 am.
It will arrive in Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays at 5.15 pm and depart at 5.35 pm. The train will reach Secunderabad the next day (Wednesday) at 9.15 am. These pair of trains will halt at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada over East Coast Railway.
Meanwhile, the Kamakhya-Bangalore Cantonment weekly Suvidha Express train (no.02510) will depart from Kamakhya on Tuesdays from April 12 to June 28 at 8.10 pm, and reach Vizianagaram on Thursdays at 12.50 (midnight of Wednesday). The train will depart from Vizianagaram at 1 am and will arrive in Bangalore Cantonment on Thursdays at 9.15 pm.
In return direction, the Bangalore Cantonment-Kamakhya weekly Suvidha special train (no.02509) will leave Bangalore Cantonment on Fridays from April 15 to July 1 at 10.15 am. It will arrive in Vizianagaram on the next day (Saturday) at 6.05 am and depart at 6.20 am and will reach Kamakhya on Sundays at 1.30 pm.
These pair of trains will have stoppages at Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road and Vizianagaram over East Coast Railway.
