New portfolios allocated to Andhra Pradesh Cabinet ministers

A day after the Cabinet reshuffle, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday allocated portfolios to the ministers in Vijayawada.

VIJAYAWADA: A day after the Cabinet reshuffle, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday allocated portfolios to the ministers here. Nara Lokesh, the TDP general secretary and the Chief Minister's son, got the portfolios of panchayat raj, rural development, information technology and communications.

While both the deputy chief ministers, KE Krishna Murthy and Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa, retained their portfolios of revenue and home respectively, finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, human resource development minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, municipal administration minister P Narayana, health minister Kamineni Srinivas and endowment minister P Manikyala Rao, also retained their old portfolios.

Here is the list of ministers and their portfolios:

N Chandrababu Naidu: Chief Minister; Minister  for  GAD, Investment, Infrastructure, Minority Welfare and Empowerment, Cinematography, Happiness Index and all other portfolios that have not been allotted to any minister. 

KE Krishna Murthy: Deputy CM,  Minister for Revenue, Stamps and Registration

N Chinnarajappa: Deputy CM, Minister for Home and Disaster Management

Y Ramakrishnudu: Minister for Finance and Planning, Commercial Taxes and Legislative Affairs

Nara Lokesh: Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Information Technology and Communication

K Kala Venkata Rao:  Minister for Energy

K Atchannaidu: Transport, BC Welfare and Empowerment, Handlooms and Textiles

Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao: Minister for Mines and Geology

Ch Ayyannapatrudu: Minister for Roads and Buildings

Ganta Srinivasa Rao: Minister for Human Resource Development

KS Jawahar: Minister for Excise

Pithani Satyanarayana: Minister for Labour, Employment, Training and Factories

P Manikyala Rao: Minister for Endowments

Kamineni Srinivas: Minister for Health and Medical Education

Kollu Ravindra: Minister for Law and Justice, Skill Development, Youth, Sports, Unemployment Benefits, NRI Empowerment and relations
