Two tribal girls gang-raped by eight youths

Though the incident took place on Saturday night, it came to light on Monday, after the victims and their parents approached the local sarpanch, who informed the same to the police.

VISAKHAPATNAM: In a shocking incident, two tribal girls were allegedly gang-raped by eight youngsters including the sons of a TDP MPTC and a head constable, in a school near Tajangi village in Chintapalle police station limits of Visakhapatnam Agency. 

Though the incident took place on Saturday night, it came to light on Monday, after the victims and their parents approached the local sarpanch, who informed the same to the police.

The accused have been identified as K Varun, son of A Angadha Rao, a TDP MPTC; K Nagendra, son of GK Veedhi head constable K Ganesh; P Divakar, M Hari Govinda Prasad and K Bheema Naidu. The identities of three other accused is yet to be confirmed.  Chintapalle police have been asked to arrest the accused.Cases were registered.
