
GUNTUR: Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu hailed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for prioritising the welfare and upliftment of Backward Classes (BC) in all sectors, following the legacy of former CM and TDP founder Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao.
Speaking at the Abhinandana Sathkara Sabha for BC ministers and MLAs at Sri Venkateswara Vignana Mandir in Guntur on Monday, Ram Mohan emphasised the importance of unity and concerted efforts in advancing the BC community.
He urged BC leaders and the public to work together for the community’s upliftment, assuring that both State and Union governments would provide necessary assistance through various welfare schemes.
Highlighting the role of education in enabling BC people to secure higher education not only in India but abroad, Ram Mohan noted that the CM’s initiatives are making way for youth employment within the State. Housing Minister Kolusu Parthasarthy echoed Naidu’s sentiments, stating that the State’s overall development would open up more employment opportunities for BC individuals. He also pointed to the Chief Minister’s efforts to bring more industries and companies to the State as crucial for the growth of the BC community.
Agriculture Minister K Atchannaidu praised NT Rama Rao for founding the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with a focus on uplifting the backward and downtrodden people and asserted that the Chief Minister was carrying forward that spirit by working towards BC development across social, financial, and political sectors.
Atchannaidu also highlighted the significant appointments of BC candidates to key positions, such as TTD EO, DGP, and Chief Secretary in the State. The event also saw the felicitation of key leaders, including MSME Minister K Srinivas, BC Welfare Minister Savitha, and other legislators from the community.
