

VIJAYAWADA: Minister for HRD and IT Nara Lokesh released the results of SSC examinations 2026 on Thursday.
The State has registered an overall pass percentage of 85.25 in the examinations. Girls have once again outperformed boys in the examination results as they achieved a pass percentage of 87.90, compared to 82.68% of boys.
Government schools registered a pass percentage of 78.39. Parvathipuram Manyam district emerged as the top performer in the State with an impressive pass percentage of 96.07. In contrast, Alluri Sitarama Raju district ranked last recording a pass percentage of 57.12. “Andhra Pradesh has been in the news for major investments and transformative projects, which makes me proud. But as HRD Minister, the steady improvement in SSC results gives me even greater satisfaction,” Lokesh posted on ‘X’.
Stating that the progress reflects the determination of students and the strong support of teachers and families, Lokesh congratulated all who achieved success in the examinations.
Urging those who did not clear the exams this time not to lose hope, Lokesh observed that they could come back stronger with the support of families, teachers and society.
“Our students are the backbone of Andhra Pradesh’s future, and we remain committed to ensuring every child succeeds,” Lokesh said.
10th Class results heartening: Naidu
Expressing happiness over the increase in pass percentage in the SSC examinations due to special initiatives taken for better results, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the 100-day plan has increased the overall Class 10 pass percentage from 81.1% to 85.25%. “It’s especially heartening to see government schools improve from 72.8% to 78.39%, with girls outperforming boys by 5.22%. A great example of how focused planning, supportive welfare measures, and consistent effort can make a real difference. Congratulations to Hon’ble Minister Nara Lokesh, the Education Department, teachers, staff, students, and parents on this wonderful achievement!” Naidu posted on ‘X’.
The SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, 2026 are scheduled from May 25 to June 4. Examination fee can be paid through HM Login at www.bse.ap.gov.in from May 1 to 9 without late fee, and from May 10 to 25 with a late fee of Rs 250.
Candidates who wish to apply for Recounting or Reverification of answer scripts may do so online from May 1 (10 am) to May 7 (11 pm). The fee for Recounting is Rs 2,500 per subject, and the fee for Reverification is Rs 1,000 per subject.
