BANGALORE: Wine drinking may be termed an expensive affliction, but Heritage Wines has attempted to break this stereotype by breaking the price barrier for the same quality of wines. Company sources have justified the price and stated that the health benefits and human system irrespective of the price, are the same.
They add that the chemical formulation of the Antioxidants is important for the human system than the price and the alcohol content is 3 per cent volume is more than lot of Indian Table Wines which is also negligible. Stating from the study by researchers at Britain's Reading University who have suggested that blue grapes are the only variety of the fruits which are both eatable as well drinkable in the form of wine. Good rains have led to a good blue crop with very high Anthocynanin and Tannins even when compared to French grapes. The wines would be priced at `100 as compared to `400 for other wines in the same category.
