Mocking at the tough action taken by the BJP which suspended a sitting MP and dropped a minister, party leaders supporting former chief minister

B S Yeddyurappa actively participated in the final preparations for the Karnataka Janata Party rally at Haveri on Sunday.

MLC M D Laxminarayan, Ranebennur MLA G Shivanna and Haveri MLA Nehru Olekar were personally supervising the preparations at the venue.

Yeddyurappa’s two sons B Y Raghavendra and B Y Vijayendra are camping here to oversee the preparations.

The party’s action did not seem to have bothered the legislators, who have been toiling to please their political master.

“Both Olekar and Shivanna have already stepped out of the BJP’s house and are not bothered about action the party may take. They are loyal to Yeddyurappa and will continue to be with him,” said a source close to Shivanna.

“We are prepared for anything. If they (BJP) are digging their grave, why should we be bothered?’’ asked Lakshminarayana, who was giving instructions to workers.

Public Works Minister C M Udasi has been working for the success of the convention from behind the scenes.
