The City municipality has taken unique measures to celebrate Dasara.
For the first time during Dasara, the municipal authorities requested poet N S Lakshminarayana Bhat to pen a song that would highlight the rich culture, heritage, noted personalities, prominent places and other unique features of the district.
He came out with a song ‘Sampattina Sahityada Soundaryada nadu, Shivamogga jille namma Soubhagyada Beedu..’.
