Gulbarga District Minister Revu Naik Belamagi who also holds the Animal Husbandry portfolio, has not made up his mind about joining the new party to be launched by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.

He told reporters here on Wednesday that he would first wait for Yeddyurappa to invite him and then decide on whether to quit or remain in the BJP.

On Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar ignoring Yeddyurappa’s advice to give more portfolios to Renukacharya, Raju Gowda and him, Belamagi said that the government completing its full term is more important than holding to him than getting additional portfolios.

Belamagi said he is ready to sacrifice the present post if it ensures stability of the Shettar government.

He dismissed the allegations of former minister S K Kanta that he had given a false affidavit to get a site in Bangalore.

Belamagi said that every year he declares details of his and his family members’  assets  and liabilities in front of the Lokayukta.

“ I am a transparent man,” he said.
