Karnataka's Additional AdvocateGeneral K M Nataraj today resigned from his post.
The AAG submitted his resignation to Chief MinisterJagadish Shettar.
"There is no particular reason for my resignation. Itis just a cordial goodbye to the post," he told PTI.
Nataraj, a senior advocate, was appointed asAdditional Advocate General on July 28, 2009. He was alsolegal advisor for various firms, including BangaloreDevelopment Authority.
After securing his degree in law from SDM Law College,Mangalore in 1992, he started his career as an advocate at theJudicial Magistrate First Class court in Mangalore.
The post of AAG had fallen vacant after the earlierincumbent Ashok Harnahalli was promoted as Advocate General.
Nataraj is the second person to hold the post after itwas created in 2008 in Karnataka.
