Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP) has introduced e-ticketing for visitors to the park. A fully-automated e-ticketing facility has been introduced on its website www.bannerghattabiologicalpark.org. Visitors can book tickets for zoo, safari, butterfly park, boating, air-conditioned bus service and jeep service.
In a press release, N Devaraj, executive director of Bannerghatta Biological Park, said e-tickets would be processed at a separate counter at the entry plaza to enable visitors to make quick entry into and exit from the premises, making the visit more pleasurable.
Devaraj said payment for e-tickets would be processed on a secure server.
Credit or debit cards could be used for getting e-tickets and all leading cards like visa and mastercard cards would be accepted, he said.
Devaraj said they were also planning to get animal adoption donations through this system.
