MYSURU: More than 40 people including children fell sick after consuming contaminated water at Jyothinagar. The residents who started vomiting were shifted to nearby hospitals and about 20 of them were treated as outpatients.
Jnanaprakash, a resident, said that the lack good underground drainage has resulted in contamination of drinking water and repeated pleas to the corporation has fallen on deaf ears.
