BENGALURU: Search and seizure operations by Income Tax officials on the residence of  Karnataka Energy Minister D K Shivakumar ended on Saturday morning around 10 am. 

The raids lasted for 72 hours. After the conclusion of the raids, Shiva Kumar came out of the house and said, "I do not want to comment about whatever has been seized It may be the documents or the money seized from my Delhi house. I will only respond once I get the panchanama report. I will meet the Gujarat MLAs who are at Eagleton resort and visit the temple."

Asked whether the raids were politically motivated, he said, this has been widely discussed in the past three days and he did not want to comment about it. 

D K Shivakumar thanked the CRPF personnel and the state police for providing security around his residence for the entire duration of the raid.
