BENGALURU: Political yatras of BJP and JD(S) which are criss-crossing the state are set to hit the proceedings of the ongoing winter session of the state legislature in Belagavi which started on Monday. The Yatra politics and strategy sessions for poll preparations in BJP and JD(S) are set to keep most of the legislators busy outside the House than inside which is expected to have its impact on the proceedings in the legislature. The poor attendance on the very first day of the session reflected the mood.

The ‘Karnataka Vikasa Yatra’ of JD(S) state president HD Kumaraswamy will enter Belagavi on Tuesday and he is scheduled to address a ‘Kumara Parva’ rally in the town. “JD(S) legislators will participate in the rally to make it a grand success,” JD(S) MLC Ramesh Babu told Express.
As JD(S) legislators would be participating in the rally, they would be away from the proceedings of the session till late in the afternoon.

The ‘Parivarthana Yatra’ of BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa will enter Belagavi on November 16 and most of the party legislators are keen to participate in it to make an impact in the district. The Yatra is set to traverse through Belagavi district for four days and preparations are on to hog the limelight amid the legislature session.
