CHIKBALLAPUR: Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust supplies morning-free nutritious healthy drinks to students studying in rural India, at present it is satisfying one crore of students and aims to target twenty-five crores.

Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust which is situated in Muddenahalli, Chikballapur the birthplace of Sir M.Visveswaraiah is also part of Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission which is educating one world-one family.

The Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust manufactures nutritious food in a hygienic and international standard machine. It is situated adjacent to the world-famous five hills Nandi Hill, Skanda Giri, Devanagiri, Channagiri and Brahmagiri is working that "no child go to school hungry ever", they are providing free nutritious food to the students of government school.

Giving details Kadali Anand Kumar, CEO of the trust said the primary intention of the trust is to feed nutritious, well-balanced morning nutrition to all school-going children in rural India which will help them to grow physically, and mentally and help them to concentrate on their studies to achieve goals, the physical activities in sports also improved due to the healthy drink he said.

Anand Kumar said the nutritious drink being provided free of cost to over one crore children across twenty-five states and 4 union territories across India every day and added that they want to make to twenty-five crores in the days to come he said, the free ragi nutritious being provided to the student in the name of Sai Sure nutrition supplement added to the milk presented to the child every morning after school prayer within the school premises.

He also said it has given happiness to the trust headed by Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai as the enrollments in the government schools have increased. Besides, dropout students are also joining the school. In all the schools, a mid-day meal is being provided. The morning nutritious drink boosts them to be fresh and healthy, which also helps them to overcome their weaknesses, particularly it helps the girl child, he said.

Giving details about Karnataka Sai Prasad Ivaturi said he said the nutritious drink is being distributed all the rural schools in the state and the enrollment in the rural parts is increased and receiving positive responses the mission is to invest in the rural and the needy through Anna(nutrition) Akshara(Education) and Arogya ( Health) leading to transformation of the children, parents community and volunteers which ensure that no child goes to school hungry ever, to provide holistic health care interventions for the needy to provide supplementary educational services to children and teachers.
